Process of polished concrete:
Polished concrete is achieved by mechanically polishing your concrete floor through a series of steps using different grit diamond tooling. We start at a coarse 25 grit and work all the way up to 3000 grit for a high gloss mirror image finish. We can stop at different grit levels for your desired gloss finished.
During the process the floor is densified (concrete hardener) strengthening the surface of your concrete floor and enhancing the level of shine. The floor is also grouted during this process filling in air pockets and cracks that are exposed when grinding.
